Lending Integrity Seal

The Lending Integrity seal of approval is awarded by NAMB to mortgage brokers and mortgage loan officers who meet specific criteria. Individuals apply for the Seal by submitting an application to their NAMB state affiliate. The state affiliate verifies the validity of each application and forwards them to NAMB for final approval. Once approved, NAMB sends an email directly to the member, giving them access to the Lending Integrity Seal of Approval and other resources on the Lending Integrity Members-Only Website. 

Instructions:
Visit Lending Integrity Seal (LIS) Website: http://www.lendingintegrity.org
Once at LIS home page choose the “Earn the Seal” button

Either “choose a selection for information or forms, or, Click on Professional Member or Originator…You will need your NAMB User Name and Password

On the top right hand side of the page, there is a link Get info on Lending Integrity background checks….We need a link here in the instructions and on our page to this background check company.

Once you click on “get started now”, or “get it now” you will be directed to a page that explains that process in 4 steps and directs you at the bottom to click complete your authorization form.

The next page will instruct you to: Print the NAMB Inquiry Authorization Release Fore in PDG or Word format.  You will need to fill our that form and fax it to: 1-800-835-2979  ATTN: Client Relations

Once you have completed this step STOP – YOU WILL BE CALLED BY A BACKGROUND COMPANY ASSOCIATE

Once the background check is performed, you will get an e-mail letting you know the status of your background check.  You will then fax that e-mail, your education documentation and any other required disclosures to the New Mexico Association of Mortgage Brokers Executive Director, Theresa Castellano at 505-994-0658.

Once received your information will be presented to the NMAMP LIS Committee and once approved the documents will be sent to the National Association of Mortgage Brokers for issuance of the Lending Integrity Seal…**BE ADVISED .  ALL INFORMATION MUST GO THROUGH NMAMP FIRST.  THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION WILL ONLY RETURN IT TO YOUR NEW MEXICO ASSOCIATION OF MORTGAGE BROKERS ASSOCIATION AND WILL NOT ISSUE THE LENDING INTEGRITY SEAL UNTIL APPROVED BY NMAMP’S LIS COMMITTEE.

PLEASE ALLOW 4 – 6 WEEKS FROM THE TIME YOU SEND YOUR INFORMATION TO NMAMP EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO RECEIVE YOUR LENDING INTEGRITY SEAL AND THE AUTHORIZATION TO USE IT.
